The Greatest Show on Earth- Ringling Brothers Circus

Paul & Judy San invited our family and Chen family to see the Ringling Brothers Circus show this afternoon! We met up at the Empress Pavilion Chinese Restaurant for dimsum, the food was so so compared to the rest of the Chinese restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley... We arrived the Staple Center before 3pm and Paul's company reserved a nice suite on the 3rd floor. The two-hour show started at 3:30pm, it was the girls' first time watching the circus show, lots of tigers, horses and elephants playing tricks. There were heart stopping stunt shows, gymnastics, clowns and pyrotechnics... Everybody had a fun time!! After the show, we went to Garden Cafe at San Gabriel Valley for dinner, then we went grocery shopping before head back home.

A Saturday afternoon with friends

The girls had a get together with their best buddies on Saturday afternoon. We met up at the Thousand Oaks Library then we all went to the park. Vivian and Erica got their turns to feed and hold Caitlyn's little brother Alex in the park. We had dinner together at Souplantation in Simi Valley, then we went the playground at the mall and played till 8:30pm. The girls all had fun and dirty feet!

Field trip to the Santa Monica Pier

The Lang Ranch Summer Camp has field trips every Tuesday and Thursday. Today they are at the Santa Monica Pier! My workplace is only about 3 miles away from the pier so I took an early lunch and went there to pay my girls a surprise visit. They were totally not expecting me, the expressions on the faces when they saw me were priceless! As they were just sitting down with the group waiting for their lunches (Erica ordered chicken nuggets & Vivian ordered corn dog), I went to pick up some chicken tacos and a drink, we had a fun lunch together! After lunch, the kids lined up to go for rides and daddy headed back to work.

Pre 4th of July celebration!

It's Sunday July 3rd, we invited Benny/ Linda's family and Danny/ Bonnie's family over for BBQ party. Benny's kids Sharon, Audrey and little Benny get along very well with Erica, Vivian and Rachael, the only trouble maker was the little Rena... Take a look at the pictures and guess who Rena is?

Sleeping Beauties

It's Sunday night... For some reasons, the girls decided to share the bunk bed tonight. I told them the bed is too small to fit both of them but the girls convinced me that it's going to be fine. I climbed up their bed in the middle of the night and snapped a few shots of two beauties soundly in sleep.

Crazy Hat Day

Tomorrow is Lang Ranch summer camp's Crazy Hat Day... Our Spring 2012 Toy Show is over and we were taking down the display and toy samples today at the showroom. I grabbed a few Funnoodles, a Cute 'N Crafty foam model and some scrap foam boards from the shop... We spent a couple hours tonight on the Crazy Hat project, both girls had fun and can't wait to show off in school tomorrow!

Feather Extensions

It seems to be a trendy thing in school these days and the girls have been asking daddy to get these for a while... Vivian picked Deep Blue Grizzly Hair Feathers and Erica picked Pink Turquoise Grizzly Hair Feathers. It's Sunday morning and daddy put them on the girls carefully. It's so happy to see two happy faces on Father's Day!
