Hong Kong summer vacation 2012

The girls kicked off this summer with two weeks vacation in Hong Kong! Mom took the girls to so many fun places, play with cousins, nephews & nieces, shopping, great food and birthday party. Each girl gained about 3-4 lbs! When asked what's their favorite food in Hong Kong, they both said McFlurries, when asked what's their favorite place to visit, they both said Hong Kong Disneyland. When asked what's their least favorite thing in Hong Kong, they both said the smell at the meat market!
Here are some pictures taken by Helen to share with you!

Last day of school year 2012!

Today is the last day of school year at Conejo Valley school district, classes ended at 12:30pm, I went to school at around noon so that I can find a parking spot nearby school. All kids were so excited when the room door opened, class teacher was giving hugs to each of the students when they stepped out the door to their parents. Erica was very proud of wearing her special "See you soon" T-shirt mom got for her from Hong Kong! They also received their report cards today, everything was excellent, the girls had a very successful year in school and we are see very obvious progress on two girls, we are so proud! After the summer, Erica will go to the 4th grade and Vivian will be a 2nd grader!

Look at my Afro hair!

Vivian found an old cassette in my car, I told her she can pull out the tape and make a pom pom. She found out it's more fun to use it as an Afro wig!

Last Sunday before Hong Kong trip

We invited Mr. Chen & Mr. Leo's families over for dinner last night. Helen prepared 4 dishes of authentic Chinese food with a pot of Chicken soup. Kids had cheese and pepperoni pizza, popcorn & watched a movie Charlotte's Web, Jennifer & Katelyn had a great time with our girls, everybody stayed till 10:00pm and had a great time. This morning we went to the Camarillo Outlet and bought 4 more Coach bags and 3 pairs of Levi's Jeans for gifts, Helen will bring to Hong Kong on our trip this coming Saturday. We probably will buy a few cases of fresh strawberries this Friday and hand carry to Hong Kong too. It's a nice Sunday afternoon, we went to Sam Woo for lunch, did grocery shopping at Ranch 99 and came home, took the girls out for a 45 minutes bike ride in the neighborhood, ate leftover pizza for dinner, this sums up a relaxing Sunday.
