Erica turns 13!

We officially have a teenager at home! Erica turned 13 on Saturday, 9/3! As previous years, we are celebrating her birthday with Helena who's birthday was on August 31. This year we went to Bonnie & Danny's house with Helena, Pauline's family. Helen prepared two types of pastas, baked ribs. Helena prepared clams, Pauline prepared curry fish balls, Bonnie made chicken wings and eggs. The girls decorated the homemade ice-cream birthday cake! It was the Labor Day long weekend, we stayed till 11:30pm before heading home, it was a fun gathering!

Road trip to San Diego

We took the girls on a 3 days 2 nights road trip to San Diego before they start a new school year next Wednesday. Day 1: We went to visit the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier, we stayed at Chula Vista. Day 2: We went to Aquatica Waterpark and stayed at Escondido. Day 3: We went to San Diego Zoo Safari Park. So much fun visiting all these places that we've never been to, it was a great trip!

Day trip to Santa Barbara

We arrived Santa Barbara Zoo in the late morning and spent a few hours there, the girls have been to the zoo a couple times in the past few years during Summer Camps and school field trips. However, it's been ages since we last visited. After visiting the zoo, we had lunch at the Long Board at the pier, the girls did some shopping before heading home at around 6pm

Road trip to the Central Coast

7/28/16, our 1st short vacation on a road trip to visit several places on the Central Coast... We went to San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, Cambria & San Simeon... here are some snap shots to share.

Kyla's visit

Vivian invited her good friend Kyla over for play date (7/24/16) . Homemade Hawaiian pizza tasted so good!

Bolsa Chica 2016

7/24/16 we went to spend a day at the Bolsa Chica State Beach with Pauline, Winnie & Bonnie's families. Nice weather and cool breeze, bike riding, swimming and lots of food!
