Easter break

It's been over a month that we haven't been to our cabin due to busy schedule... We made it this weekend and got there on Saturday afternoon, it was quite cold in the mountain and the weather forecast said it has 80% change that it will snow on Tuesday! We had Korean BBQ for dinner in the cabin and the girls went to their room and watched an old movie "ET". Sunday continued to be a chilly day, the girls had Easter egg hunt at the park in the afternoon and found quite a few egg goodies. On our way home, we stopped by Mongolian BBQ in Simi Valley and had a great dinner. Mommy went back to work on Monday and daddy spent another day with the girls. After spending an hour or so started new tortoise summer house project, daddy took the girls to see the movie "Cinderella", it was a beautiful movie and everyone enjoyed it.

A fun day bike riding from Santa Monica to Venice Beach

It's Good Friday today and we have a day off (poor mommy had to work today). I took the girls to McDonald's in Agoura Hills for breakfast before heading to Santa Monica biking. This was the 2nd time we rode from Santa Monica to Venice Beach. The girls stopped by many parks along the bike path, we had pizza and hot dog lunch at the Venice Beach broadwalk. On our way back, we stopped at Starbucks in Malibu for Frappachino and stopped by Agoura Animal Shelter and checked out the animals, we stopped by the pet store and got some super worms and crickets for our reptiles.

Backyard Korean BBQ

This is 1st time we had dinner at our backyard! It was a fun Korean BBQ dinner and we all loved it! The pictures we posted on Facebook got a lot of attention, many of our friends want to come to have backyard Korean BBQ with us!

Dinner at Helena & Henry's house

After we finished visiting Christine's house, we went to Helena and Henry's house for dinner. Helena cooked up a storm and the food was so good! Everybody enjoyed a good company and great food! Kids also had a fun day!

Visiting Christine's house in Orange

We left home early and had breakfast at Garden Cafe in Rowland Heights on our way to cousin Christine's house in Orange. For some reasons, they were planning a big celebration that day. Besides my uncle & aunt, my cousin Frances, Christine, Carolyn & Liza were all there! It was great to see the family!

Friday afternoon tea

Everything Friday, we get off early at 1pm. I usually will pick up the girls before 3pm and head to McDonald's for "afternoon tea". Today we were very hungry and ordered a little too much food which spoiled our dinner.

Helena & Henry's visit to our cabin

2/28/15

Weather forecast that we would have snow over the weekend... We invited Helena and Bonnie's family over to our cabin for hotpot dinner. Bonnie's family was not able to make it because Danny was busy with her tax season and Bonnie has to take Rachel to the dentist... Good thing Helena's family made it and we had a fun hotpot dinner! We went sledding at the Nordic Base on Sunday morning, the snow was very thick and soft up there! After we returned to the cabin, we had a heavy snow fall and it was absolutely beautiful!
