Our 2016 greeting card photo shoot

This is our 5th year taking pictures at PMC for our holiday greeting cards! The pictures were shot at the Fern Lake area on the 26th of November before and after a big snow fall. We picked some nice shots and sent to Costco on Sunday night to make the greeting cards. Cards were picked up on December 2 and all went out to our friends and relatives on Saturday December 3 together with annual letters. This is a tradition that we kept for 10 years now. Our 1st cruise trip!

This is our very first cruise trip, a 4-day pre-Thanksgiving family cruise trip to Mexico Riviera on Carnival Imagination! We left the Long Beach port on Sunday evening, spent a day at Catalina Island on Monday, spent our 2nd day at Ensenada, Mexico, our last day was on the Sea and returned back to Long Beach on Thursday morning. It was a very fun trip, lots of food and lots of walking around the ship between our cabins (R2 & R4) on deck 4, Dynasty Lounge, Curiosity Library, Gallery & Spirit Dinning Room on deck 8, Pixels Gallery, Xanadu Lounge, Imagination Promenade on deck 9, Lido, outdoor pool, Atrium on deck 10 and the upper decks 11 12 & 14 with Observation decks, mini golf & jogging track... Food was excellent and the Divas show on our last night was amazing!!

Nicole and her boyfriend Zach's visit to the cabin

Nicole and Zach are visiting California for a couple of weeks. We took them to our cabin for the weekend. Hope they had a good time!

Erica turns 13!

We officially have a teenager at home! Erica turned 13 on Saturday, 9/3! As previous years, we are celebrating her birthday with Helena who's birthday was on August 31. This year we went to Bonnie & Danny's house with Helena, Pauline's family. Helen prepared two types of pastas, baked ribs. Helena prepared clams, Pauline prepared curry fish balls, Bonnie made chicken wings and eggs. The girls decorated the homemade ice-cream birthday cake! It was the Labor Day long weekend, we stayed till 11:30pm before heading home, it was a fun gathering!

Road trip to San Diego

We took the girls on a 3 days 2 nights road trip to San Diego before they start a new school year next Wednesday. Day 1: We went to visit the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier, we stayed at Chula Vista. Day 2: We went to Aquatica Waterpark and stayed at Escondido. Day 3: We went to San Diego Zoo Safari Park. So much fun visiting all these places that we've never been to, it was a great trip!

Day trip to Santa Barbara

We arrived Santa Barbara Zoo in the late morning and spent a few hours there, the girls have been to the zoo a couple times in the past few years during Summer Camps and school field trips. However, it's been ages since we last visited. After visiting the zoo, we had lunch at the Long Board at the pier, the girls did some shopping before heading home at around 6pm
