4th of July weekend

It was a great 4th of July weekend we had! We got invited to Bonnie & Danny's house for the 4th of July BBQ gathering, kids had fun at the waterslide in the backyard, we had tons of great food in the evening! On the next day we invited Chen's family to our cabin for the weekend, it happened that San's family was up at their mountain house over the weekend as well. 4 good friends since kindergarten had a great gathering at our cabin and spent hours of fun time together! They played games, watched movies and ate lots of food! They all went fishing couple hours before sunset and caught lots of fish! All girls went to the pool and swam for a hour and half on Sunday morning while parents are relaxing on the lounge chairs in the shade. After lunch at the cabin, the girls went to San's house to play while we chatted with Mr. & Mrs Chen at our back patio... We picked up the girls at 4:45pm and all 3 families drive to Souplantation in Simi Valley and continue our dinner party! It was a fun packed weekend!

I asked the girls to take a shower before dinner, they came out with their panties and PJ covering their heads, looked funny, took some shots with my phone to share... Not sure who's idea what it but it's pretty creative.

Erica's biggest catch at the Fern Lake, PMC

It's the first day of Summer, we went to the lake about 1.5 hours before sunset. This bass is the largest fish Erica caught in her life so far, few seconds after this picture was taken, the fishing line snapped. It's a catch & release lake so we safely put the fish back into the lake for the next lucky fisherman to catch!

Class of 2014 Westlake Hills Elementary

Erica has completed 5th grade, last year at the Westlake Hills Elementary and is promoted to 6th grade at Colina Middle School in Thousand Oaks! Daddy was not able to attend the graduation ceremony due to work but mommy was able to spend an hour at the event. We are proud of Erica's achievement, hope she will do just as well at the middle school in coming years!!

Festival of the Horse, PMC

It was a beautiful Saturday at the PMC equestrian open house! The annual Festival of Horse has offered kids with gift bags when we arrived, they also have free lunch with chili dogs, chips, soda and water. There were all kinds of performances, games and free horse back rides for the kids. It was a very fun event!

Vivian shopping with celebrity!

We were at Ross Thousand Oaks when we bumped in to another celebrity! I recognized Jermaine Jackson and told the girls that he's Michael Jackson's brother, I would like to invite him to take a picture with them. Erica got scared and went away (later she regretted), Vivian was so excited and we introduced ourselves to Jermaine, he was a very pleasant person and immediately hold Vivian's shoulder when I asked if my little girl can take a picture with him! Vivian will have something to brag to her classmates this morning!

Crazy hair day
